Hello Bearblog

As of today, my website is hosted by Bearblog.

I’ve been switching blog platforms more than I have written posts. Well, kind of. Over the last years, I have been using markdown files, managed in a git repository and published to a static site using Hugo. Initially with Netlify, but more recently with Codeberg Pages.

Unfortunately, designing my site and the technicalities of publishing content was taking more time than I wanted. Although it’s a hobby, this started bugging me. So I’ve been looking for a simple and light platform that would allow me to focus on writing, instead of ‘coding’.

I think I’ve found it with Bearblog for now. Over the next period, I will slowly move my content from the old site to this. Until then, the full archive can be read at 2025.vanbregt.eu.
